DRYSUIT SIZE CHART
FOR
KME STOCK DRYSUITS
The following Size Chart for KME Stock Drysuits lists the actual suit measurements.
To determine the Drysuit that will fit the person using it, the actual measurements of
the person will need to fall into the following ranges.
1. Shoe sizes are to be the persons actual size. KME will change sizes at no extra
charge when we build the drysuit by special order.
2. Chest measurement (around the largest part) of the person should be 1 1/2 " to 3"
less than the chart measurement.
3. Waist measurement (around the largest part, usually at the belly button) of the
person should be 1 1/2" to 3" less than the chart measurement.
4. Hip measurement (just above the crotch at the largest part) should be 1 1/2" to 3"
less than the chart measurement.
5. Upper Thigh measurement (just below the crotch) should be 1" to 2" less than the
chart measurement.
6. Mid Thigh measurement (half way between the crotch and the center of the knee)
should be 1" to 2" less than the chart measurement.
7. Calf measurement (largest part, usually about 5" below center of knee) should be
1" to 2" less than the chart measurement.
8. Shoulder to Wrist measurement (from the end of the shoulder bone, about where a
shirt sleeve attaches to the shirt body----but watch it, as some on people that may
be different, to the back of the hand at the flexing place, along the outside contour
of the arm with it hanging relaxed at the side) should be plus or minus 1/2" (a little
long is OK, but too short is not).
9. Crotch to Floor measurement (taken down from the center [fore and aft] of the
crotch, touching down the inside of the leg on the pants seam, to the floor [shoes
off], below the ankle) should be no shorter or no longer than 1".
10. Crotch to Front of Neck measurement (from the same as 9. center of the crotch to
the notch formed by the collar bones) should be no shorter than 1/2" and no longer
than 1 1/2".
11. Crotch to Shoulder measurement (from same center of crotch as above, to the
shoulder tip at the same point used for the arm measurement...do not let the
tape slide over to the side of the chest) should be within 1" short or long.
12. Around the Torso measurement (using a 10' tape, pass it through the crotch, over
the shoulder at the side of the neck, and back to itself)should be no shorter than 2
1/2" or longer than 1".
13. Neck Size measurement (around the neck just below the bottom of the chin) should
be no more than 1/4" larger or smaller than the chart range. If the drysuit size that
fits a person has a neck seal outside the chart range sizes, a custom neck seal size
is available by special order at no charge.
14. Wrist Size measurement (around the wrist at the point where the hand bends, not
over the wrist bone) should be within 1/4", plus or minus, of the chart size. Again,
custom wrist seal sizes are available by special order at no charge.
