This
Dress is made of RUBATEXTM
G-231-N
dry suit neoprene with SUPER HEAVY NYLON (Swiss Picot weave) on
the outside for wear resistance and to control the "ballooning"
usual with neoprene foam diving suit materials.
Standard
thickness is 1/8” (3 mm) which adds some insulation, but stays flexible.
1/4" (6.5 mm) thickness is optional.
Real
rubber breast plate gaskets. A, Commercial 12 bolt, B ("Yokohama"
or lightweight) and MK-V sizes.
MK-5
breast plate gasket is pre-punched to Navy specs., with un-punched
available by special order.
There
are three options for wrist seals; vulcanized rubber (MK-5), Neoprene
(G-231-N) custom sized and “Latex Commercial” long taper ("Machete").
The
feet have light rubber sole to protect the suit and diver when out
of the water or when the chaffing boots are full of sand or debris.
The rest of the foot is rubber coated for added protection. Front
of legs are rubber coated for added protection.
Crotch,
elbows and seams are covered with urethane backed close weave nylon
for the best chaffing protection available.
The
only color now available is Black.
