TECHNICAL DIVING TAILORED
DRYSUIT
with SUPER HEAVY WEAVE OUTER NYLON
The EXP-600-T
Technical Diving Dry Suit is the wreck diving, deep diving
or cave diving version of the NEPTUNE Series Tailored Dry Suit and is based
on
the EXP-100 model, made by KME Diving
Suits, Inc.

The EXP-600-T being used with a CCR-2000 Rebreather for deep diving in Puget Sound.
The EXP-600-T Technical Dry Suit
is made from special Super Heavy
Weave nylon fabric laminated on the outside of rugged RUBATEX
TM
G-231-N,
1/8" (3mm) thick neoprene foam sheet, with standard 4 way
stretch nylon on the inside.
G-231-N conforms to Specification RE-41-E1
of ASTM Method D-1056-78.
G-231-N is nitrogen gas injected, neoprene
closed cell foam. This neoprene
foam is much stronger, warmer, more
compression resistant and resilient
than the common extruded or chemically
expanded soft foam "off-shore neoprene"
materials. The "600" Super
Heavy Weave nylon covered G-231-N
is available in Black only.
The back shoulder-entry zipper used
in the EXP-600-T is a Heavy Duty
(size #6) gas and water tight zipper
made only by "BDM" in England.
The standard boot on the EXP-600-T
is the K-Boot, an outer molded rubber
shell with a water tight neoprene foam "sock" bonded inside, then joined to
the dry suit leg. The K-Boot is designed for swim fin use. The K-Boot
is
available in sizes from # 4 to # 14, with no half sizes. Other KME
boots are
available as Options.
The Air Control Valves on this dry
suit are TRIDENT ""TM
(commercial
grade) dry suit valves.
The TRIDENT exhaust valve is manually operated
and is designed to not let water
into the suit when the operating button is
depressed. The exhaust valve
is designed to dump more air than the inflation
valve can let into the drysuit as
a safety factor. For the diver that wants an
adjustable self venting exhaust valve,
KME offers the SITECH
TM low profile
model. The diver has their choice
of valve placement in all KME dry suits.
All adhesives (four different) used
in the EXP-600-T are the best available for
each use. NO wetsuit grade glues are used. The seams are triple glued,
primed
then hot taped on the outside, and then they are hand sealed on the inside with
KME's exclusive TCV system.
KME offers many OPTIONS
such as an American made comfort or "relief"
standard (size #8) waterproof zipper
placed horizontally just above the
crotch or a P-valve. Another Option
is an American made Standard (# 8)
waterproof back entry zipper. There are many
other Options such as different
boots, several types of pockets, commercial
knee pads, internal suspenders,
other boot models, independent suit inflation
bottle pocket or a whole Argon
system installed, latex seals instead
of neoprene, attached hood and more.
KME offers several CHOICES
on the EXP-600-T, such as, Choice of valve
placement, Choice of Standard (skin
side inside) or Reversing (tuck under)
neoprene wrist seals, Choice of Latex seals, and Choice of fit;
Snug (like a loose wetsuit),
Regular (for street clothes or
light underwear with room for sweater over)
Loose (heavy underwear or
layered garments).
